Trip Overview
Tackle the Alps head-on, crossing from Switzerland into Italy via legendary mountain passes. This is one of the most demanding routes in our portfolio — the climbs are long, steep, and relentless, but the descents are extraordinary and the scenery is genuinely world-class. Starting on the shores of Lake Geneva, the route climbs into the high Alps before descending through the Aosta Valley to Turin, the elegant capital of Piedmont. If you've ever dreamed of riding the passes you've seen on the Tour de France, this is the ride for you.
Who is this for?
An extreme alpine challenge for very strong cyclists. The Great St Bernard Pass climbs to over 2,400m. You need serious climbing ability and excellent fitness. Not for beginners.

"This was my first time cycling with Adventure Cafe; first time riding from London to Paris and my first time riding this sort of distance over 3 days. Lots of preparation had gone into this from AC prior to departing London."
